摘要

A 22-year-old primigravida presented to our hospital with a massive pulmonary embolism post cesarean section. In view of her recent post-operative status and risk for bleeding, an early catheter guided thrombectomy was performed following which her shock resolved. Our patient responded well and we were able to stop vasopressors and extubate her within 72 hours. Guideline do not provide clarity on the use of such modalities in this particular patient group. We intend to thus share our experience, which will not only add to literature but can be practice changing.
