Recurrent Vulvo-Inguinal Cellular Angiofibroma with Malignant Transformation: A Rare Clinicopathological Entity
摘要
Cellular angiofibroma is a benign mesenchymal tumour which occurs mostly in the vulvo-vaginal and inguinoscrotal regions. It is treated by surgical excision, and recurrence is extremely rare. Sarcomatous transformation is rarer still. We report a case of cellular angiofibroma in the vulvo-inguinal region with multiple recurrences and sarcomatous transformation, and discuss about the paucity of available literature for clinical decision-making.
