摘要

This study presents the hybrid arithmetic optimization-pattern search (HAOA-PS), an enhanced variant of the arithmetic optimizationalgorithm (AOA) technique. By evaluating several benchmark test functions and comparing implementation time and solution quality with the original arithmetic optimization technique, the suitability of this suggested hybrid strategy is examined. Next, the suggested method is used to create a multi-stage proportional-integral-derivative (MSPID) controller to control the operating frequency of distributed power generation systems. It is expected that, in terms of frequency control, the suggested hAOA-PS-based MSPID controller performs better than traditional PID controllers. The proposed hAOA-PS-based MSPID controller achieves improvements of 27.82%, 60.02%, and 65.15% compared to the AOA-based MSPID, hAOA-PS-based PID, and AOA-based PID, respectively, shown in the simulation results.
