The interplay of emotional intelligence and stress management: a behavioral analysis
摘要
Recognizing the term emotional intelligence, as well as techniques for dealing with psychological stress, is critical because both exert an essential effect on an individual’s achievement and advancement. In addition, the research study addressed how emotional intelligence affects stress management and resilience from a behavioral perspective, with a focus on healthcare professionals such as doctors and nurses (N = 538). By using confirmatory factor analysis to verify the components and guarantee the reliability of the assessment, hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used to determine the suggested associations among stress management, emotional intelligence, and resilience. The findings indicate that features of EI, especially emotive self-awareness and self-regulation, have a notable effect on stress management, while the connection between EI and resilience differs among doctors and nurses. The study suggests that customized EI training, along with an expanded emphasis on demographic, professional, and organizational influences, is crucial for nurturing resilience.
