Unraveling air pollution in Anand Vihar, Delhi: insights, impacts, and interventions

This study delves into the complex facets of air pollution in Anand Vihar, Delhi, India a district in NCR marked by high concentrations of particulates and gaseous pollutants. Using data gathered from Air Quality Index tracking units and employing the method of linear regression analysis, the inquiry examines the relationship between weather conditions, vehicle emissions, industrial operations, and pollution levels. The results highlight notable seasonal changes driven by climatic elements, with pollution surging during the colder months. Shortcomings in urban planning intensify pollution, presenting serious health threats to residents. The research puts emphasis on the compelling necessity for proactive policy implementations and remedial actions to prevent health hazards. By delivering an in-depth insight into pollution origins and patterns, the aim of this study is to guide focused efforts to control pollution and increase public cognizance, ultimately adding to the mitigation of urban air pollution in Anand Vihar and similar regions.
