Modelling dynamic nature of YouTube’s digital ecosystem and its analysis using numerical methods

YouTube stands as the premier video-sharing platform online, offering a lucrative avenue for content creators. With the platform witnessing a steady influx of new creators daily, competition for viewer attention has intensified, elevating the space into a highly competitive arena for quality content production. To advance their careers, YouTubers employ diverse strategies aimed at boosting the view-count of their videos and expanding their reach effectively. These strategies facilitate the dissemination of videos to wider audiences, thus enhancing their potential viewership. The formulation of such expansion strategies helps yield rapid growth for YouTube channels. This paper presents a modeling framework that examines the dynamics of potential viewer expansion, considering various market expansion scenarios. To validate the efficacy of the proposed model, the authors leverage numerical methods, demonstrating the robust performance of the proposed models. The study provides valuable insights into effective market expansion strategies tailored for stakeholders within the dynamic YouTube ecosystem.
