<p>This study examines the ethnobotanical, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties of <i>Cordia dichotoma</i> G. Forst fruits. Ethnobotanical surveys highlight the fruit’s extensive cultural significance in Uttar Pradesh, used in culinary preparations and traditional medicine, with high fidelity levels reflecting its importance. Antioxidant assays show the aqueous extract (CD Aq) to be particularly potent, with high phenolic (71.46&#xa0;µg GAE/mg) and flavonoid (43.35&#xa0;µg/mg) content, demonstrating superior radical scavenging ability (IC50: 40.17&#xa0;µg/mL DPPH, 8.53&#xa0;µg/mL ABTS) and total antioxidant activity (21.99&#xa0;µg/mg). Anti-inflammatory assays on RAW 264.7 cells reveal that CD Aq extract maintains cell viability up to 160&#xa0;µg/mL and effectively inhibits nitric oxide, ROS and TNF-α production. These results underscore the potential of cordia fruits, particularly the aqueous extract, for applications in nutraceuticals and functional foods aimed at managing oxidative stress and inflammation, highlighting both its traditional uses and modern health benefits.</p>
