<p>C.R. Rao has been deeply attracted to geometry and geometry-based intuition since his younger days (~ 18 -19 years). His initial articles, published before the groundbreaking work that led to the Cramér-Rao bounds, Rao distances, and Rao-Blackwellization, focused on theoretical probability, geometry, linear algebra, and number theory. This article discusses briefly young Rao’s mathematics teachers from Andhra University, and a summary of the first 19 publications during (1941-1945) by the young Rao before he turned age 25 while at the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata (then known as Statistical Laboratory, Calcutta), India, before his journey to Cambridge for his Ph.D. The article also describes a brief outline of the technicalities associated with these articles.</p>
