On a wavelet-like orthonormal basis and its application to two-dimensional Radon transforms

In this paper we present a wavelet-like orthonormal basis of \(L^2(\textbf{R}^2)\) $L^2({\mathbf{R}}^2)$ with the use of Hardy wavelets. We construct simple basis functions, which are motivated by the idea of the dual Radon transform. As an application, we also study approximate reconstruction from two-dimensional Radon transforms and propose an efficient method including three parameters.
