Unlocking E-commerce Potential: An Exploration of the Integrated Knowledge Management Lifecycle with Three Learning Loops
摘要
In the rapidly evolving landscape of contemporary e-commerce dominated by technological advancements, integrating knowledge management practices is pivotal for achieving business success. Therefore, this paper aims to introduce an integrated knowledge management lifecycle tailored to the specific context of key challenges and requirements of the current and future e-commerce sector. Using a conceptual approach grounded in the modeling methodology, the study unfolds in two stages: (1) a systematic literature review of existing knowledge management lifecycle models and (2) the development of the Integrated Knowledge Management Lifecycle framework. Notably, the framework introduces a groundbreaking dimension - the third learning loop, the dynamic management loop, addressing how to innovatively achieve immediate task-related goals within the broader context of ongoing processes. The framework’s practical implications are substantial, enhancing organizational learning, fostering innovation, and streamlining decision-making processes. Consequently, it empowers e-commerce enterprises to thrive amidst the intricate challenges of Industry 4.0 and 5.0.
