This research investigates the intellectual landscape of Financial Technology (FinTech), Decentralized Finance (DeFi), and financial inclusion through the lens of sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) perspectives. Employing a hybrid bibliometric and thematic content analysis of 1,740 Scopus-indexed publications from 2020 to 2025, the research maps scholarly output, influential authors, institutional collaborations, and thematic clusters. Findings reveal exponential growth in publications, with India and China emerging as leading contributors, alongside extensive global collaboration. The analysis identifies two dominant thematic clusters: (i) the technological-functional domain, comprising FinTech, DeFi, and financial inclusion, and (ii) the sustainability-driven domain, encompassing ESG, green finance, and sustainable development. Influential scholars such as Peterson K. Ozili have shaped this discourse, while highly cited works highlight the transformative potential of FinTech and DeFi for inclusive and sustainable finance. However, gaps persist in the integration of ESG metrics, representation of emerging economies, and methodological consistency. The study underscores the need for harmonized frameworks and context-specific research to advance sustainable digital finance. By providing a comprehensive synthesis of trends, structures, and gaps, this paper offers valuable implications for academics, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to align FinTech innovation with inclusive and sustainable development goals (SDGs).

摘要
