Global Research Trends on Supply Chain Management, Logistics Adoption and MSME Performance: Insights from a Bibliometric Perspective
摘要
Understanding the relationship between supply chain management and logistics adoption is crucial for a sustainable MSME business ecosystem. To emphasise its significance, this study examines global research trends on supply chain management, logistics adoption, and MSME performance using a bibliometric approach covering 2000–2025. Based on 87 Scopus-indexed articles, longitudinal descriptive techniques, citation analysis, and keyword co-occurrence analysis were performed to map thematic evolution over three distinct periodical segmentations. The findings reveal a shift in focus from operational efficiency to digitalization, sustainability, and resilience, particularly influenced by COVID-19 disruptions. Emerging themes include artificial intelligence, blockchain, and circular economy practices. The study offers implications for policymakers and practitioners while proposing future research directions to emphasize technology-integrated, sustainable, and resilient frameworks for MSME performance.
