Technological Advancements and Human Resource Productivity in the Automobile Manufacturing Sector
摘要
The research examines the influence of technical progressions on human resource (HR) productivity in the automobile manufacturing sector in Chennai, India. Previous research has examined broad technology-performance relationships, but studies pertaining to the precise effect of digital tools on human resource operations in developing industrial areas remain insufficient. The study addresses this research gap through mixed-methods data collection, which includes quantitative data from 379 respondents across 68 companies, along with qualitative information from HR professionals. Organizations benefit from four major digital technologies to enhance HR performance through better decisions and employee engagement while developing employee competencies. The research demonstrates that digital technologies help organizations achieve both enhanced efficiency and better knowledge spread and usage throughout their human resource operations. Digital tools transform the human resources function into a strategic element through their support of data analytics and continuous learning, and real-time performance monitoring in knowledge-based industrial settings. The findings present both theoretical guidelines with applied solutions for implementing HR technology systems that support productivity, together with innovation objectives.
