摘要

Using the resource-based view (RBV) and organizational knowledge management (OKM) theories, this study presents a unique perspective by investigating how the knowledge creation process (KCP) acts as a mediator between leadership and management support (LMS) and competitive advantage (CA). It also explores the role of market turbulence (MT) in moderating the relationship between the KCP and CA. The data was collected from 306 participants in 97 manufacturing firms in Pakistan. Employing structural equation modelling (SEM), this article uncovers novel findings that the KCP, through the exchange and integration of knowledge, significantly mediates the link between LMS and CA. Practically, it offers actionable insights for managers, emphasizing the importance of fostering knowledge-driven processes and adaptive strategies, particularly in turbulent markets, to sustain competitive advantage. The study acknowledges its regional focus as a limitation and suggests future research directions, including cross-industry and cross-cultural studies, to validate further and generalize the findings.
