Women Entrepreneurship as a Social Protection Criterion in Promoting Women Empowerment in Saudi Arabia: Characteristics, Opportunities, and Challenges
摘要
This study investigated the aspirations of Saudi women to contribute in the field of entrepreneurship. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher employed statistical methods for an opinion poll, where the data was obtained through a survey of the opinions of Saudi women entrepreneurs about their entrepreneurial aspirations, motivators, and challenges, in order to come up with a clear vision of the elements of entrepreneurship among Saudi women and to identify the push and attraction factors that motivate them. In this field, in addition to the most prominent difficulties and challenges they face, Saudi women today possess the readiness, ambition, and incentives that qualify them for success, despite their lack of some entrepreneurial skills and their need for adequate financial support. The Saudi female entrepreneur faces many challenges, most notably family circumstances, lack of funding, and the complexity and length of government procedures.
