Mapping the Insurance Purchasing Research: A Bibliometric Analysis

The evolving insurance market highlights the increasing significance of research on insurance purchasing. This study employed bibliometric techniques to comprehensively analyze 572 publications from the Scopus database to identify the latest themes and trends in insurance purchasing research. It traced the annual publication trends in this field from 1938—its inception—noting a significant surge after 2000 and a peak in 2021.
