  • Yuanyuan Chen

摘要

This longitudinal study investigates the dynamic interplay between entrepreneurial knowledge and firm performance in emerging markets, specifically Brazil, India, and Vietnam, spanning from 2013 to 2023. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research identifies critical entrepreneurial knowledge types, such as general business acumen and industry-specific expertise, alongside emerging market insights. Notable findings include strategic adaptations to informal regulations, challenging existing notions, and enriching understanding of start-ups navigating regulatory landscapes. Comparative analyses with existing literature validate established theories while extending knowledge of internal–external dynamics. The study’s practical applications offer policymaker recommendations for adaptable environments, such as fostering collaborative networks and incentivizing participation, while providing entrepreneurs with strategies for success in similar global contexts, emphasizing continuous learning and adaptation. By advancing comprehension of entrepreneurial dynamics in emerging markets, this research significantly contributes to the literature, guiding stakeholders in navigating challenges and seizing opportunities in the evolving landscape of entrepreneurship.
