Cultivation of College Students’ Legal Literacy Under Entrepreneurship from the Perspective of Sustainable Development

In contemporary society, the trend of entrepreneurship among college students has surged. However, a lack of systematic legal literacy training leaves students vulnerable to legal risks during the entrepreneurial process. Despite extensive governmental, institutional, and societal support for student entrepreneurship, there exists a notable gap in legal literacy training. This paper addresses the critical issue of legal literacy training among college students, with a specific focus on the context of entrepreneurship. The paper establishes comprehensive evaluation criteria for both entrepreneurial capabilities and legal literacy among college students, forming a training model for legal literacy rooted in an entrepreneurial spirit. Through questionnaire surveys, the paper delves into the current status of students’ legal learning abilities and the perceived importance of entrepreneurship. Concurrently, through a comparison of comprehensive scores, the research examines the impact of entrepreneurship on students’ levels of legal literacy knowledge and the efficacy of legal literacy training models in bolstering students’ entrepreneurial capabilities. Findings reveal that students often lack initiative in learning legal knowledge, relying predominantly on Internet sources that lack systematic coverage. A minority of students tend to resolve issues personally rather than through legal channels, and most students overlook legal risk assessment and responsibility allocation. The proposed entrepreneurial-based training model for legal literacy garners widespread recognition among students and teachers, playing a pivotal role in fostering student entrepreneurship. Furthermore, entrepreneurship proves instrumental in elevating students’ legal literacy and knowledge levels, thereby enhancing their overall entrepreneurial qualities. This paper innovatively combines legal literacy training with college students’ entrepreneurial capabilities, presenting an entrepreneurial spirit-based training model for legal literacy. This model not only addresses the theoretical gap in legal literacy training for student entrepreneurship but also furnishes new theoretical underpinnings and reference frameworks for universities engaged in entrepreneurship education and legal literacy training among their students.
