Selbstmitgefühl als wichtiger Resilienzfaktor im Umgang mit Schmerz
摘要
Self-compassion, as a mindfulness-based and trainable approach in pain psychotherapy, promotes an attitude of kindness and care toward oneself, particularly in situations of distress, crisis, and suffering. Based on the three core components—mindfulness, common humanity, and self-kindness—self-compassion aims to reduce maladaptive cognitions such as catastrophizing, self-devaluation, and cognitive fusion, while strengthening emotion regulation and resilience. In the context of chronic pain, this approach can support active coping by fostering acceptance, reducing psychological distress, enhancing self-care, and decreasing self-stigmatization. This text provides an overview of the approach, with mechanisms of action and practical applications of self-compassion in chronic pain, and summarizes the current state of research.
