Aktuelle Aspekte der rheumatologischen Rehabilitation in Österreich
摘要
Timely rheumatological rehabilitation can contribute significantly to improving symptoms and promoting a favourable course of the underlying disease. To this end, a variety of interventions are combined in a comprehensive therapeutic concept on an interprofessional basis. In addition to individually tailored physio- and occupational therapy in various forms, patients also receive basic information about the disease, combined with training in joint protection measures and proper nutrition as well as optimised management of the disease, which should subsequently enable them to successfully self-manage their condition. A central element of the current form of rheumatological rehabilitation is maintaining the ability to work. Based on a detailed occupational and stress history, activity goals are defined, and work simulation training is carried out. In line with the current medical performance profile, rheumatological rehabilitation aims to improve the patient’s function and quality of life, which benefits not only the medical and occupational areas but also social participation in all areas of life.
