Indikationen zur Unterbrechung von rheumatologischen Basistherapien
摘要
The decision to pause treatment for rheumatism patients is complex and requires a precise risk–benefit analysis. On the one hand, there is a risk of complications if the therapy is continued; on the other hand, a longer break can lead to relapses. In practice, this often leads to increased use of glucocorticoids, anti-nonsteroidal inflammatory agents (NSAIDs) or a combination of these with the known risks. It is therefore all the more important to make a decision based on several aspects in order to ensure optimal medication management for patients The aim of this article is to aid physicians in making informed choices in withholding therapy by providing guidance.
