摘要

Previous studies have demonstrated the significance of IL3R in hematological malignancies. Our research has further revealed the impact of IL3RA on the biological behavior of breast cancer cells. However, there is a need for a comprehensive pan-cancer analysis to further elucidate its feasibility. We conducted a thorough analysis of the IL3RA gene’s oncogenic role in 33 types of human cancers using datasets from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO). The expression level of IL3RA varies significantly between normal and tumor tissues of different types, and changes in its expression or genetics are closely linked to the prognosis of most cancer patients. In various cancer types, there is also a correlation between the expression of IL3RA and the level of relevant immune cell infiltration. According to the GO and KEGG results, IL3RA plays a significant biological role in regulating various signaling pathways related to the development of the vascular system, angiogenesis, and cell adhesion molecules, among other effects. In summary, the pan-cancer study on IL3RA indicates a strong correlation between the expression level of IL3RA and the onset and prognosis of certain tumors. However, further experimentation and deeper investigation into the underlying mechanisms are necessary to confirm these findings.
