Objective <p>Overexpression of interleukin-20 receptor A (IL20RA) has been implicated in promoting tumor growth, metastasis, and unfavorable prognosis of various malignancies. However, its role in endometrial cancer (EC) remains unexplored. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the functional roles and clinical significance of IL20RA expression in EC.</p> Methods <p>We utilized data from TCGA and XENA databases to compare IL20RA levels between normal uterine tissues and EC tissues. The association between IL20RA expression and clinical characteristics, as well as patient prognosis, was further evaluated. Using ROC analysis, COX regression, and survival analyses, we assessed the relevance of reduced IL20RA expression to diagnostic and prognostic outcomes in EC. Additionally, a prognostic nomogram based on IL20RA expression was developed to predict patient survival.</p> Results <p>IL20RA expression was significantly downregulated in EC tissues. Reduced IL20RA levels were correlated with cancer diagnosis, advanced clinical stage, age, weight, BMI, histological subtype, tumor invasiveness, and unfavorable prognosis. Furthermore, IL20RA was identified as an independent risk factor for unfavorable DSS and PFI in EC patients. The constructed prognostic nomogram demonstrated the DSS and disease progression in EC.</p> Conclusion <p>IL20RA expression is markedly suppressed in EC. Its downregulation is associated with both diagnosis and prognosis, suggesting that IL20RA may serve as a potential prognostic biomarker for EC patients.</p>

Objective

Methods
