Background <p>Primary adult-type fibrosarcoma of bone is extremely rare and has been infrequently reported in the literature. To the best of our knowledge, there are no previous reports of its occurrence in the tibia of a teenager.</p> Case presentation <p>Here, we report the case of a 14-year-old girl diagnosed with bone fibrosarcoma of the tibia without distant metastasis. After local focus resection, iliac bone transplantation, and filling, there were no signs of tumor recurrence or metastasis. The patient returned to normal walking 4 weeks after surgery.</p> Conclusions <p>This case report may assist clinicians in the diagnosis and management of primary fibrosarcoma of the bone in teenagers, particularly given that our patient remains recurrence-free.</p>

Background

Primary adult-type fibrosarcoma of bone is extremely rare and has been infrequently reported in the literature. To the best of our knowledge, there are no previous reports of its occurrence in the tibia of a teenager.

Case presentation
