<p>The current work was aimed to indicate the renal protective effects of silver nanoparticles against <i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i> in the male rats. Twenty-five samples of urine were collect from urinary tract infection patients. These samples isolated on MacConkey and Cetrimide agar. Twenty-eight mature male rats were used in current study, and distributed into four groups, each with seven rats. The negative group, positive group, AgNPs group, and treated group. The results demonstrate significant (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.05) increased of total oxidant status (TOS) and decreased total antioxidant status (TAS) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels in the infected group, and the treated group showed non-significant changes (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.05) in the levels of SOD, TOS, and TAS after utilizing AgNPs. The infected group showed damage of glomerulus, degenerative changes, thickening wall, and congestion with lymphocyte infiltration. Kidney sections from the treated group after using AgNPs revealed semi-normal kidney tissue architecture.</p>
