<p>An improved method has been proposed for predicting the microstructure formed in alloyed steels during austempering and quenching-partitioning in the temperature range of martensitic transformation. The temperature dependence of the coefficient <i>n</i> of the Austin–Rickett equation for modeling the kinetics of isothermal bainite transformation at temperatures below <i>M</i><sub>s</sub> was established. The developed method also considers the equilibrium of the <i>α</i>- and <i>γ</i>-phases and the formation of carbides. It is shown that the proposed method allows an increase in the adequacy of the microstructure prediction compared to the currently applied method.</p>

摘要
