<p>In the present research, thermal mechanical simulation tests were performed on a low carbon microalloyed steel to obtain the data for modeling for the phase transformation. With the assistance of the experimental data, the validity of the previous models was tested. The results show that there is a limit for the previous models. Great care has to be taken as modeling for multi-phase transformation is performed. Especially, it is revealed that the previous models are not suitable for modeling for the bainite transformation of the tested steel due to the effect of primary phase transformation on the subsequent ones. So, a new model has been proposed to predict the phase transformation precisely. And the results from the new model are compared with those from experimental ones or those from the previous ones and the validity of the new model is confirmed.</p>
