Surgical Synergy of ALT and TFL Flaps: A Case Series in Complex Head and Neck Reconstruction
摘要
This study reports surgical outcomes of five cases reconstructed using chimeric free Anterolateral thigh (ALT) & Tensor Fascia Lata (TFL) perforator flaps. All flaps survived completely with no cases of flap necrosis. Minor postoperative complications were observed in two patients, which were managed conservatively. Functional outcomes including oral continence and speech were satisfactory, with favorable aesthetic results. This combined flap approach offers a reliable and versatile option for large, complex head and neck defects with minimal donor site morbidity. The purpose of this study is to report our surgical experience with the use of the chimeric ALT & TFL perforator flap in large volume head and neck reconstructions.
