Objectives <p>This study aims to see the utility of the submental flap in oral cavity reconstruction following ablative resection for early oral cancer.</p> Materials and Methods <p>Retrospectively reviewed records of ten oral cancer patients who underwent ablative resection and were reconstructed using a submental flap in AIIMS, Guwahati.</p> Results <p>None of the patients experienced flap loss. One patient developed flap congestion, but the flap was salvaged.</p> Conclusion <p>A submental flap may be a reliable option for soft tissue defects reconstruction in early oral cancer node-negative patients.</p>

Objectives

This study aims to see the utility of the submental flap in oral cavity reconstruction following ablative resection for early oral cancer.

Materials and Methods
