Introduction <p>Cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD) is a rare autosomal dominant inheritance that affects bones which undergo intramembraneous ossificatio. The dental abnormalities associated with CCD present an obstacle to orthodontic treatment planning. Early diagnosis is crucial to provide the patient with different treatment modalities that will suit the patient.</p> Description <p>In this case report, a case is examined that presents various orthodontic challenges accompanying cleidocranial dysplasia notably a class III malocclusion, multiple missing teeth in the upper front teeth region, proclined upper incisors, retroclined lower incisors, an anterior crossbite and multiple impacted and supernumerary teeth.</p> Result <p>The treatment resulted in the successful achievement of the orthodontic treatment goals while preserving the functionality.</p> Conclusion <p>Patients with cleidocaranial dysplasia require a team approach with good communication and cooperation from the patient. Timing of the intervention is critical.</p>
