<p>An unusual incidence of tuberculous osteomyelitis of the mandible in a 26-year-old woman is reported. This paper highlights the diagnostic dilemma after clinical and radiographic examination and multiple laboratory investigations, emphasizing the importance of histopathologic diagnosis. Early detection can reverse pathologic bony alterations, and an efficient ATT regimen should be started immediately per the DOTS guidelines. When clinical signs do not follow standard therapy, a dentist’s deepest suspicions must include tuberculosis as a differential diagnosis.</p>

摘要
