<p>A continuously tunable Nd:NaLa(WO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub> laser operating in 1300–1400&#xa0;nm spectral region on <sup>4</sup>F<sub>3/2</sub> → <sup>4</sup>I<sub>13/2</sub> transition is demonstrated by pumping with a diode laser. Broadband tuning wavelengths are obtained in two polarizations by rotating the Lyot filter. The tuning widths of the output wavelengths in the π- and σ-polarizations are 67&#xa0;nm (from 1323 to 1390&#xa0;nm) and 69&#xa0;nm (from 1326 to 1395&#xa0;nm), respectively. At an incident pump power of 20&#xa0;W at 808&#xa0;nm, the maximum continuous-wave (CW) output powers in the π- and σ-polarizations are 4.41&#xa0;W at 1334&#xa0;nm and 5.72&#xa0;W at 1339&#xa0;nm, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first tunable laser operation by using Nd:NaLa(WO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub> crystal.</p>

A continuously tunable Nd:NaLa(WO4)2 laser operating in 1300–1400 nm spectral region on 4F3/2 → 4I13/2 transition is demonstrated by pumping with a diode laser. Broadband tuning wavelengths are obtained in two polarizations by rotating the Lyot filter.
