Monte Carlo study of magnetic properties of nano-phosphorene-like structure with RKKY interaction

摘要

This work presents an investigation into the magnetic properties of a nano-phosphorene-like structure. Employing the Monte Carlo method, we scrutinize the Kittel, Kaufman, and Yoshida (RKKY)-type interaction among magnetic atoms mediated by non-magnetic atoms. Our model encompasses a diverse array of spins: A = 1/2, B = 1, C = 3/2 and D = 2. We accurately analyze the fluctuations in both total and partial magnetizations, elucidating their responses to external magnetic fields and crystalline fields. Furthermore, we exactly examine the effects of non-magnetic layer thickness, exchange coupling interactions, and temperature variations on these properties. Additionally, our discourse extends to the critical temperature of the system, clarifying its dependence on these parameters. Finally, we present magnetic hysteresis cycles across diverse configurations, thereby offering a nuanced understanding of the investigation of magnetic phenomena investigation.
