Two-stream instability of relativistic electron beam in magnetized plasma waveguide: nonlinear logarithmic electrodynamics model
摘要
Understanding the interplay between electromagnetic phenomena and plasma instabilities is paramount in various astrophysical and laboratory contexts. This study delves into the intricate dynamics of a relativistic electron beam propagating through a magnetized plasma waveguide, employing a nonlinear logarithmic electrodynamics model. Leveraging the power of linear perturbation theory, we derive a comprehensive dispersion relation, integrating fluid equations and nonlinear electrodynamics field equations. Employing numerical analysis, we scrutinize the growth rate of the two-stream instability within the plasma waveguide, revealing the profound impact of nonlinear electrodynamics effects. Notably, our investigation unveils how these effects significantly influence instability characteristics, particularly under varying magnetic field strengths. This research sheds new light on the complex interplay between electromagnetic fields and plasma instabilities, offering fresh insights into astrophysical and laboratory scenarios where such phenomena are prevalent.
