Effect of electron-longitudinal-optical phonon coupling on the thermodynamic properties of asymmetric semiconductor quantum wire under the influence of magnetic field
摘要
The effect of polaron on the thermodynamic properties of an asymmetric semiconductor quantum wire (ASCQW) in the presence of magnetic field is investigated. Both Lee–Low–Pines (LLP) approach and canonical ensemble theory (CET) are used in order to perform complete free energy spectrum on the one hand and derive thermodynamic parameters including internal and free energies, entropy, heat capacity, Magnetization and magnetic susceptibility on the other hand. It is shown that both Electron-Longitudinal-Optical (ELO) phonon coupling and magnetic effects modified considerably the thermodynamic properties of an ASCQW. Whatever the asymmetric quantum wire value, there is a critical value of the magnetic field (
