<p>3<b>-</b>Methyl(phenyl)-4-dimethylsilyl-sydnones and 3-methyl(phenyl)-4-vinyldimethylsilyl-sydnones were investigated for the first time in hydrosilylation reactions. It was demonstrated that standard platinum- or rhodium-based catalysts are effective for catalyzing the hydrosilylation reaction. The sydnone moiety remains stable under hydrosilylation conditions and does not poison the catalyst.</p>

3-Methyl(phenyl)-4-dimethylsilyl-sydnones and 3-methyl(phenyl)-4-vinyldimethylsilyl-sydnones were investigated for the first time in hydrosilylation reactions.
