摘要

This study introduces a novel Direct Organic Introduction (DOI)—Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) method for quantifying platinum (Pt) in polysiloxanes. The method simplifies sample pretreatment, enhancing the repeatability and accuracy of analysis. Optimized parameters led to a rapid, accurate method with a low detection limit of 0.460 mg/kg and high linearity (r > 0.9999). The method’s relative standard deviation (RSD) was 0.6%-1.4%, and recovery rates were 95.2%-106%, outperforming traditional digestion methods in terms of simplicity and accuracy. Through AGREEprep evaluation, which is an analytical greenness metric for sample preparation, the DOI method demonstrated superior greenness compared to acid digestion methods. The establishment of this method is of great importance for the synthesis and de-plating effect evaluation of polysiloxanes, as well as the precise quantification of Pt in platinum catalysts. It provides an efficient and environmentally friendly analytical technique for research and applications in related fields.
