摘要

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is a remotely controlled or autonomously operated aircraft used for various applications such as surveillance, communication, research, etc. UAVs are nowadays being recognized as potential threats, prompting a surge in the development of anti-UAV technologies. An anti-UAV system is designed to detect, track, and neutralize unauthorized or potentially harmful UAVs. Using the fundamental aspects of the anti-UAV system, a stochastic model is constructed to investigate the reliability attributes. For the evaluation of the underlying model, continuous time Markov chain (CTMC) and semi-Markov process (SMP) are employed to capture the behaviour of the system’s states. The steady-state probabilities are computed for the SMP model using the two-stage method. Whereas both the transient and steady-state probabilities are obtained for CTMC model. The numerical findings of reliability measures for both types of models are described through graphs. To verify the accuracy of the presented model, a simulation approach is employed.
