Growth and characterization on highly NLO single crystals 4-acetyl-N-methylaniline for optoelectronics and laser applications

Third-order centrosymmetric nonlinear optical (NLO) 4-Acetyl-N-methylaniline (4ANMA) crystals is auspiciously developed by solution evaporation technique. The active functional groups is investigated by FTIR analysis. Thermal, mechanical, electrical and laser stability and behaviours are ascertained of the title compound. The theoretical studies such as HOMO-LUMO analysis is included. Intermolecular interactions are visualized by using Hirshfeld surface Analysis. Transmittance of the grown crystal was analysed by UV-Visible analysis. Z-Scan analysis is confirmed its third order NLO activity.
