Analysis of hexagonal boron Nitride by the method of computing of the optical behaviour

The purity, quality and structure of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN), an industrial product, were analyzed by numerical model using optical scattering method. Light intensity distributions were calculated with the help of known optical parameters and the cylindrical model developed for h-BN. In the crystal structure of h-HB considered as a microcylindrical container, light scattering was calculated according to the incident light intensity and dielectric parameters for the material with different absorbance values and distribution curves were obtained. The standard model was obtained from the light intensity data calculated for different absorbing and non-absorbing environments in the cylindrical model designed for numerical calculations. As an important industrial product, it was observed that the numerical calculation results and physical structure descriptions obtained for the h-BN standard model, alargely coincide with the results of previous studies using similar methods applied to different materials.
