摘要

In the last ten years, digital holography has been increasingly popular due to its many useful applications in fields such as biology, medical radiography, surgery, 3D rendering, and multidimensional imaging, all of which aid in the accurate diagnosis and prognosis of various brain and body illnesses. This method differs from traditional holography in that it uses interferometric imaging sensors—like Charged Coupled Devices—to perform all of the computations, eliminating the need for lenses. The image is subsequently rebuilt using a number of algorithms. With the use of AI technologies like Deep Learning, this review seeks to present the present state of knowledge on computer-based holography and its use in neuro-radiology for the assessment of neuropsychiatric illnesses. Lastly, we address the efficiency, necessary upgrades, and breadth of application in brain imaging after carefully examining and reviewing the current literature in this subject to outline future scope.
