<p>This article review the research articles titled “A promising role of Ba<sup>2+</sup> ion in the enhancement of structural, optical, photoluminescence, z-scan, etching, and laser damage threshold study of C<sub>6</sub>H<sub>14</sub>N<sub>4</sub>O<sub>2</sub>H<sub>3</sub>PO<sub>4</sub>H<sub>2</sub>O single crystals: implications on photonics device applications” published in Results in Optics and “Ni<sup>2+</sup>-incorporated <sub><i>L</i></sub>-arginine phosphate crystals: growth, optical performance, and nonlinear optical properties for photonic device development” published in Journal of Optics. The critical examination has been done on several claims made in the original papers, highlighting inaccuracies and unsupported assertions that lack sufficient scientific evidence or rigorous analysis.
