<p>This work describes the establishment of an enhanced Photonic Crystal Fiber Fabry Perot Interferometer using Surface Plasmon Resonance to measure relative humidity in the surrounding area. Short lengths of PCF solid core are spliced together with normal single-mode fiber on one side to create the sensor’s overall shape. A 60&#xa0;nm-thick layer of Au nanofilm is then applied to the PCF sensor’s end. For different humidity, the PCF-SPR test was conducted. because of the highest energy transmission from the reflected power of the light steered through the sensor to the surface plasmons, the zone of the resonant wavelength peaks is observed to shift to longer wavelengths (red shift) when the humidity grow. According to the empirical findings, the maximum Sensitivity (S) was 0.5454, the Resolution (R) was0.1833, the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) was0.05, and the Figure of Merit (FOM) was 0.0045. The prepared sensor proved to be an excellent element for measuring relative humidity, exhibiting great performance qualities.</p>
