Design of dibit based all optical frequency encoded controlled Fredkin gate using optical switches

In recent trends, data is one of the most valuable and vital issue for the whole world. As well as the speed of data communication is also an important parameter of present-day technology. As light is the fastest element for transmission, so the photonic communication takes a major stake in modern communication technology. Using this technology, the design of all optical digital logic gates and other different devices have already been proposed. In this research the authors have proposed an all-optical frequency encoded controlled dibit based Fredkin gate using reflected semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) and add/drop multiplexer (ADM). The proposed dibit based system performance may be better than the other electronic or conventional circuits, as well as the low signal to noise ratio may found here and reduce error for long distance communication. The proposed all optical Fredkin gate offer controlled dibit based digital circuit, so it does not allow any irrelevant input which will enhance the robustness of the system as well as the efficiency. Due to this modification, the device may operate with superior protection. The verification of the all-optical logic gate operation accomplished by using MATLAB R2017(a) simulation software.
