All Inorganic Cesium-Based Dual Light Absorber For Efficiency Enhancement In Solar Cells
摘要
Over the past few years, researchers have increasingly focused on lead-free perovskite solar cells (PSCs) for the promising photovoltaic (PV) characteristics. This study presents a comparative analysis of the performance of two configurations of lead-free PSCs: ITO/ZnO/Cs2AgBiI6/Spiro-OMeTAD/Ag and ITO/ZnO/Cs2AgBiI6/Cs2AgBiI6/Spiro-OMeTAD/Ag. Compared to methylammonium (MA)--based PSCs, Cs2AgBiI6-based PSC demonstrates superior performance parameters. Optimization of the defect density and thickness of the perovskite layer has been done followed by the optimization of parameters of charge transport layers. Moreover, the series resistance is also been incorporated in the presented device structure to study its impact on the performance. Finally, the optimised solar cell structure yielded enhanced output device parameters with a JSC of 32.22 mA/cm2, VOC of 1.09 V, FF of 84.49%, and PCE of 29.72%. These findings highlight the potential of Cs2AgBiI6-based PSCs as a promising contender for lead-free next-generation emerging photovoltaics in solar energy technology.
