Exact solutions with novel constrain condition in variable coefficient nonlinear Schrödinger equation

In this paper, a family similaritons, such as bright similariton (BS), dark similarity (DS) and Kuznetsov–Ma similariton (MS), are obtained by self-similar transform in variable coefficient nonlinear Schrödinger equation. The novel constraint condition has led to the formulation of the controlling dynamics. We examine the transmission dynamics of the BS, DS and MS in optical fiber systems characterized by uniform and exponentially varying dispersion and nonlinearity profiles. Our findings may contribute to a new theoretical foundation for the design of advanced nonlinear fiber optics.
