Implementation of various screen to camera techniques for optical OFDM communications systems

The Internet of Things (IoT) is developing quickly, and in order to serve several applications, improved communications technologies are needed. Optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (O-OFDM) has been widely used by researchers in S2C to improve performance. The short transmission distance, high Bit Error Rate (BER), and restricted viewing angle are the primary issues affecting O-OFDM S2C systems' performance. To get over these obstacles, a number of strategies are employed, including the clipping technique and forward error correction. Furthermore, the major design characteristics of the proposed screen-to-camera S2C communications system are tested using an experimental setup. This recommended method is used for the first time in an educational setting and is meant to assist learning in a range of contexts. According to the suggested enhancement system's experimental results, the ideal CF is 0.8 at BER of about 10−7, 20 dB SNR, 5 m transmission distance, and 60° viewing angle. These findings show that, when compared to the traditional S2C system, the suggested S2C system performs with a respectable BER improvement.
