摘要

The research and development of organic solar cell is increasing day by day, while, it can be noticed the increase in the efficiency of the cell through various trials and errors regarding the selection of the material. To sort out these issues an organic solar cell model is designed using PC-1D software. The material that acts as the active layer in the device is a lead -containing perovskite. i.e., CH3NH3PbI3 which is also one of the key specifications due to its nontoxic nature. Moreover, the PCE in the configured arrangement based on the designed PSC can be upraised to a much more substantial scale. The novelty and the outcome of the present design of PC-1D simulations inquire into the efficiency constraints of the solar cells. Therefore, we utilize a new insight of ETL-free solar cell that will decrease the production costs and other flaws. The ongoing research obtains the best possible thicknesses of the different solar cell layers for procuring an elevated Efficiency. The outcomes are delightful as the open circuit voltage (VOC) of 0.804 V, and the current density (JSC) of 34.17 mA/cm2 are the highest. The designed PSC offer a much-optimized PCE of 23.69% which has been obtained using NiO as the HTL layer and designed in PC-1D Simulator software.
