Synthesis & properties of CQDs/TiO2 based epoxy paint for dye sensitized solar cell
摘要
This article reported the synthesis of bioderived carbon QDs from Spathodea campanulata (Tulip tree) flowers using a simple wet chemical route. Further, studied their UV–visible and photoluminescence properties, which exhibit strong absorbance in the 220–400 nm range and also show broad-band bright-green photoluminesnce under NUV excitation wavelength. Paint has been formulated for the fabrication of solar cells using TiO2/CQDs composite and epoxy resin. Performance of the solar cell device was monitored under natural room light illumination. Hence, the TiO2/CQDs-based epoxy paint may find promising scope in photovoltaic applications.
