Integrating Li-Fi for enhanced security in MANET data transmission
摘要
Over recent decades, Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) have been emerged as vital frameworks for data communication by connecting mobile nodes via wireless links. While traditional Radio Frequency (RF) communication systems have been prevalent, Visible Light Communication (VLC) notably in the form of Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) offers a compelling alternative for wireless links. A critical issue in MANETs is to ensure secured data transmission via efficient routes which should be resilient to attacks. The emergence of VLC with its potential to provide a new spectrum for data sharing has sparked the interest in leveraging it as a solution for data transmission in wireless links. The work concentrates on reduced end-end to delay in MANETs by integrating multipath routing and Li-Fi capitalizes high speed data transmission and spectral efficiency. The work endeavours to optimize the synergy between Li-Fi technology and MANET to address the critical challenges and to unlock the full potential in various applications.
